A job I would like to have

I study cinema and television, so I would like a job related with this area. Until this year I didn’t have very clear which area preferred, but now I really like the position of “art director”.  This semester I have a class of “art direction”, so is very easy to imagine how it is: read scripts, choose the types of lights, colors, create atmospheres and decorate the set according to de director’s idea.

I don’t care if I have to work in outdoors or indoors. I think that both places are very interesting; outdoors and indoors are difficult to do a great work, but both have a particular magic.

I think to be a good art director you must have to travel a lot. Knowing new places you can do a best work, because you have the possibility to see more landscapes and atmospheres. So yes, I would like to travel a lot in my future job to be a better professional and I really like know new places.

In Chile the careers related with arts aren’t good pay, so I think I won’t have a good salary in the future –but who cares, I will married with a millionaire (just kidding)-. Sometimes I worried about the money, but then I think “If you love your job and are good doing it you always gonna have work and a salary”. I prefer to do something that I really like than have a lot of money doing something that I hate.
